SOUTH BY BURLESQUE--KITTY KITTY BANG BANG ADDS BURLY-Q TO SXSW WEEKEND OF BEER AND BANDS.

AUSTIN, Texas--February 28, 2006--Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for the 2006 kick off of Kitty Kitty Bang Bang's sexiest vaudeville-burlesque affair, Whim Wham! A fine spectacle of thrills and delights, Whim Wham is live at the grand theatre of Esther's Pool the entire weekend of SXSW. Admission is $15 and shows will run Thursday, March 16th, and Friday, March 17th at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 18th at 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, known for their diverse shows, grand-scale ensemble numbers, and fondness for sin, gin, and tassel twirlin', team up with Austin institution Esther's Pool to offer Austinites and visitors something to spice up SXSW.

"Austin is not just a hotbed for great music, but also, great burlesque," said Stacey Breakall, Kitty Kitty Bang Bang founder. "A ticket to Whim Wham offers the SXSW crowd a chance to spice up the whole experience and the non-SXSW crowd see a sexy, fun show, be in the middle of it all, and not have to dish out the same amount of money as badge-holders."

Hot and sexy new talent along with local favorites such as the Amazing Buffy West, Senior Enigmatico (Gil Austin), Chancla, songbird Suzanna Choffel, comedian Andre Meadows, Austin Chronicle's 2006 sexiest new DJ, Laurie Gallardo, Throw Up Juggling, and Magical Mystical Michael the Magician, will be uniting with Kitty Kitty Bang Bang to bring the masses a mighty dose of old vaudeville wiggles, jiggles and giggles.
